Why Does CALLED OUT Exist?

We exist to compel Christians to live boldly for Christ—called out of darkness and into the marvelous light of Jesus. (1Peter 2:9)

1. We preach the Bible.

God’s Word is our authority and our foundation. All of our teaching aims to faithfully proclaim Scripture, trusting the Spirit to use God’s Word to save, convict, and transform.

2. We sing loudly.

We believe worship is a joyful, bold response to who God is and what He has done. Our gatherings are marked by lifting our voices together—unashamed, unified, and focused on Christ.

3. We prioritize discipleship in the local church.

Called Out exists to serve—not replace—the local church. Our heart is to strengthen students’ commitment to lifelong discipleship through their home churches and trusted leaders.

4. We equip students through practical teaching.

We want students to leave with more than inspiration—they leave with tools. Our teaching aim to address real questions and everyday challenges, helping students follow Jesus faithfully in school, at home, and online.

5. We encourage and support student ministry leaders.

This conference is not just for students; it’s for leaders, too. We want to come alongside pastors, volunteers, and parents with encouragement, gospel-centered reminders, and resources for the work God has called you to.

6. We partner with faithful organizations.

It is a blessing to link arms with colleges, camps, conferences, and ministries who share our commitment to Scripture, the gospel, and the next generation. We work hard to bring these partners to the conference so you can build relationships that will benefit you and your students long after the conference ends.
